CadeLume runs as a local service on your own machine, not a tenant in someone else’s cloud. Your files, your prompts, and your evidence are stored on that machine and never leave it. It keeps working with no connection at all, so it fits behind your firewall and inside validated, air-gapped GxP networks where cloud tools are a non-starter.

Not a log. A chain nothing can slip into.
Every run writes an evidence trail where each event’s hash is built from the one before it. Insert, alter, or delete a single event and every hash after it breaks. Content is fingerprinted with BLAKE3, so changing one character changes the fingerprint. Approvals are signed with ed25519, the same public-key math that secures SSH, so who signed and what they approved is independently verifiable, by anyone, forever.

Every prompt, workflow, and agent is a versioned, content-addressed artifact. Once written, a version is immutable. Changing it creates a new version, and the old one stays exactly what it was. A run pins the exact versions it used, like a software lockfile, so the same reference resolves to the same content today, next quarter, and at your next inspection. An agent recalls what it learned by name and version, not by resemblance.

Underneath CadeLume, our patent-pending MicroPrompt engine compresses the instructions an agent runs. You mark what is critical and must never drop, what is safe to drop under a tight budget, and what belongs at the end where the model pays the most attention. It is deterministic and reproducible, not an AI guessing which words matter. A preservation proof then runs the full and compressed versions side by side and confirms your critical facts, CFR citations, CAPA numbers, and declared locks all survived.
